A number of British are looking for their family history roots in the Indian hill stations. Through our Family History tours, we have already helped many of them. There are a large number of descendants of those Brits who were born in India and lived the whole of their life here and are Resting in Peace in the different Cemeteries. Many of the graves are in good condition but many others have either been completely lost or lost their face. The Churches have got the records but the inscriptions on the graves are fading away with time.

The Indian partition and Indian Independence forced the British to leave India and go back to Britain. But many of them decided to stay back and live here for the rest of their life. Just think of those who were born and brought up here, studied here, lived here all of their life, and then suddenly they were asked to move away. India, their own country, where had brought massive development and it was really painful for them to leave it.
