Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Gaggal Airport and drive to Dharamsala
Your guide will meet you outside the exit gate of the airport. The drive begins from here and after an hour or so you will enter the hills.
Day 02: Dharamsala
Today is the day to enjoy nature at its fullest. After breakfast, we drive to the village Naddi and follow a forest trail. This amazing mountain trail leads us to the other side of the hill.
Day 03: Dharamsala - Tirthan
Today after breakfast we shall drive to Tirthan for 6 hours. It is very enjoyable drive On the way, we shall visit some traditional and legendary temple.
Day 04: Tirthan - Walk to Chaini Kothi.
Today after a healthy breakfast we shall drive to village Bihar. A narrow trail, initially through the village and then continues to the forest, whirls up to Chaini Kothi that is a one thousand years old, the eleven-story tower in village Chaini. Later we continue to descend to the main road from the other side of the village.
Day 05: Tirthan - Shimla
Seven hours on the road and we are in Shimla.
Day 6: Shimla Heritage Walk
The best way to know Shimla and its history is to go for a Heritage Walk. An enjoyable day with full of information.
Day 07: Viceroy's Hunting Forest and A Day with a Royal Family
A walk through a tranquil forest and then a visit to a descendant of a Royal family of Dhami. You will be hosted by the family of Arki Dynasty and have lunch at their small palace.
Day 08: Shimla - Departure
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh to board your train/flight.
